Opening Was a Great Success

At the opening event for Life Is In the Balance, I had the delightful opportunity to have conversations with about 25-30 park visitors about the artwork. It was so gratifying to hear how much the work was appreciated and how it added to their experience in the park. Narrows Botanical Gardens are truly a valuable resource for the community. I am so happy to make this contribution for the two months the artwork will be on display. Don't miss out. Exhibit Opening: Saturday, July 22 from 12-2

  This has been a wonderful journey...and it's not over.  The Exhibit Opening will be Saturday, July 22 from 12 - 2 at Narrows Botanical Gardens. I will be at the lawn where the artwork is displayed. Come take a look, bring your questions and help me celebrate Narrows Botanical Gardens.   Final installation view with labels and Artist Statement Other event dates include: Drawing Workshop with Kristin in the Gardens     Saturday, August 19 2 - 3 pm This is open to families of all ages. I will have a very limited number of sketchbooks and pencil for you. You may want to bring your own. We will be drawing the plants and fauna we find in the garden that afternoon. Red Letter Day: Installation at Narrows Botanical Gardens

I was so pleased today to have the opportunity to install the banners at Narrows Botanical Gardens. I will be working with the park to set a schedule for the events relating to this exhibition of drawings celebrating the connection of all life and this wonderful green space in New York City. Banners Printed by Loupe Digital

 July 5 Today I went into Manhattan to pick up my banners from Loupe Digital . They did a great job printing them on a vinyl surface that can be displayed outside for long periods of time. My primary concern was color matching to the drawings and they/their printer did a very good job. James at Loupe Digital with my banners all printed and packed up for the trip back to Bay Ridge.
