  This has been a wonderful journey...and it's not over.  The Exhibit Opening will be Saturday, July 22 from 12 - 2 at Narrows Botanical Gardens. I will be at the lawn where the artwork is displayed. Come take a look, bring your questions and help me celebrate Narrows Botanical Gardens.   Final installation view with labels and Artist Statement Other event dates include: Drawing Workshop with Kristin in the Gardens     Saturday, August 19 2 - 3 pm This is open to families of all ages. I will have a very limited number of sketchbooks and pencil for you. You may want to bring your own. We will be drawing the plants and fauna we find in the garden that afternoon. Welcome and Here's the Story

A few days before Thanksgiving I received an email informing me that the New York State Council on the Arts was going to fund my proposal to create a series of drawings visualizing the connection of all life through the lens of geometry. I was thrilled. I am profoundly grateful for the funding and the recognition of my work. Life's in the Balance, the project title is a continuation of a creative investigation I started many decades ago and have brought forward through the years. Artist's Talk September 9 from 2 - 3 at Narrows Botanical Gardens

In my beloved Chinese redwood grove at Narrows Botanical Gardens   Please join me on Saturday, September 9th  from 2 - 3pm at Narrows Botanical Gardens in Brooklyn  for my Artist's Talk for the exhibit Life Is In the Balance Learn about my process in making the drawings, the 40 year history of my making work that has a very similar structure in sacred geometry and radial symmetry and how my four years as a volunteer at NBG informed this project.  Find out where each drawing's subject matter is located in the garden.
